"So it's a film about these two friends."

'Outstanding Young Performers', a proof-of-concept short set to pitch a larger series, follows best friends Shawn and Lisa as they attempt to pitch their short film script to a local director.

Set against the backdrop of the Perth arts scene, 'OYP' explores the dynamics of a creative partnership, using humour to uncover how ambition, passion, and insecurity can influence friendship.
