Director Statement

Our Unforgettable Fellow is a fiction film that emerged from the extensive manipulation of archive materials. All the cassette tapes featured in the picture are part of a family collection of real voice recordings dating from 1982 to 1996, restored and digitized by the director himself over many months. These echoes of the past have turned into a tale that resonates with themes that are deeply personal to the author, the crew and the cast: the weight of cultural heritage and its inescapable influences on the social dynamics of the present.
