Director Statement

House Rules was a project based solely around a joke at a games night that got way out of hand!
What's the best way of ruining poker!

Planned at our weekly games night, me and boys concocted the idea for this very short film when on one of our many tangents away from the game we were actually playing!

Filmed in just one evening, this short fun film is pure fun cinema - no digital effects - no over bearing life changing themes - just a noir setting and a story so universally silly, it's hard to not to make you chuckle.

We hope you enjoy this ultra short film and maybe use it as an excuse to ruin someone else's game night!
