Osvaldo Víctor Mantello
Almost two decades were necessary to make the documentary Osvaldo Víctor Mantello. The project started as a personal search for hear the words of those who knew my father and later became a feature film project. The construction of the film take place in parallel with the return of the trials of Crimes against humanity in Argentina, the work carried out by the EAAF (Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team) and thereunion of those who were my father´s comrades.

Juan Pablo Mantello was born in the City of Buenos Aires in 1977. He graduated from the Filmmaking career at IDAC (Institute of Cinematographic Arts of Avellaneda), graduated in Art Criticism (specialty in cinema) at UNA (National University of the Arts). He is doing a master's degree in Sociology of Culture at IDAES / UNSAM (Institute of High Social Studies / National University of San Martín). He teaches film and cultural management classes.
He has a broad militancy in the fight for Human Rights.
"For each of us, art was a way of channeling pain and, surely, it must also happen to you that you suffer, when you are marginalized, when the police persecute you, and perhaps some of you will also find a way to express yourself in the arts.
