Director Biography - Tony Joseph Cross

From the moment I picked up a VHS camera when I was 7, I wanted to make movies. I'm now 28, and since then I've written a couple of feature film scripts, made a few short films, commercials, and one music video. My experience during the festival circuit last year with "The King's Eye" was incredibly inspiring and motivating. As I continue to further and improve my directorial craft, I look forward to the experiences yet to come.

"Origin Point" is a sci-fi short film that is directly inspired by various sci-fi classics, both recent and old, ranging from the more light-hearted and fun (Star Wars and E.T.), to the more dramatic and suspenseful (Signs and War of the Worlds). It is intended to be a loving and sincere homage to the sci-fi genre as a whole, with an emphasis on practical effects and old-school filmmaking.

All of the music presented in the film is royalty free and has been licensed appropriately.
