Operation Jaguar

Operation Jaguar is a short, cheeky spy-adventure that begins with an innocent stroll along a tropical beach — and ends with a mysterious blast that changes everything.

When a man discovers a strange plastic bag washed up on shore, curiosity gets the better of him. Inside: a cryptic note and a haunting Mayan whistle. One blow of the horn and the jungle answers… but not in the way he expected.

Unbeknownst to him, that ancient frequency sets off a bizarre chain reaction across the globe — activating a rogue field agent and triggering a confused (and mildly annoyed) prankster who suddenly realizes… she may have created something far more powerful than intended.

Told through three characters filming in separate locations, Operation Jaguar is a fun, fast-paced, and surreal micro-adventure about curiosity, consequences, and the mysterious forces that tie us together — even from miles apart.

Starring Arek Zasowski, Lizet Benrey, and Wendy Fout, this tropical short is a flirtatious wink to spy thrillers with a DIY twist and a jungle-sized sense of humor.

Director Statement

As a filmmaker, I’ve always been drawn to stories that blend mystery, adventure, and a touch of playful chaos — and Operation Jaguar is exactly that. What began as a creative experiment quickly evolved into a tropical spy short packed with humor, heart, and a surreal twist on truth and destiny.

One of the most exciting aspects of making this film was the way we embraced distance as a feature, not a limitation. Filmed entirely in separate locations — in both the USA and Mexico — our cast brought this story to life remotely, yet intimately. Each performance was filmed with full creative freedom, then woven together into a cohesive, fast-paced narrative. The result? A film that feels connected despite being continents apart — which, to me, speaks to the true power of storytelling and collaboration.

Working with Lizet Benrey and Wendy Fout was an absolute joy. These two incredibly talented actresses not only brought their characters to life with charm and precision, but also helped shape the film’s personality with their unique presence, energy, and ideas. I couldn’t have asked for better creative partners to make this micro-adventure come alive.

Operation Jaguar is cheeky, cinematic, and just the beginning. I hope audiences feel the spark we felt creating it.
