Director Biography - Rayna P. Buxton

I've always thought it important to show the world is filled with magic and mystery, even in places and things that we have grown to consider mundane. I grew up surrounded by plants and wildlife and enjoy working with the themes of nature and fantastical creatures in my art.

My first experience with animation was through a 4-H project in middle school, and I quickly fell in love with it. After highschool I joined the CalArts Character Animation class of 2022, where I made three animated short films.
