Experiencing Interruptions?

Oopsy!

Siri Lee - Oopsy! takes its cue from the spirit of Guantanamera, keeping a touch of Latin warmth in the saxophone over a bold electronic soundscape.
The idea of high heels biting, beautiful, painful, yet we still force ourselves into them shaped the theme, linking the friction in love with moments of losing and regaining control and a hint of self-alienation.

In the video, every character except Siri is an AI-generated reflection of her, cloned from her own face.

When she finally takes them off and dances barefoot, she reclaims her freedom and the truth of who she is.

Visually, the MV uses the three colours of the Taiwanese Jiazhi bag (茄芷袋 / かぎ編み), folding this everyday icon into a surreal, meme-tinged world that mirrors the song’s mischievous, slightly off-balance spirit.

Director Statement

Oopsy! began with a simple, slightly cheeky question: why do we force ourselves into these beautiful, torturous shoes, and what does that say about how women are expected to behave? I wanted to capture the absurdity of that pressure, the way we squeeze into expectations until something feels off, and how easy it is to lose sight of ourselves in the process.

AI became my way of visualising that distortion. Each glitchy clone of Siri reflects a version of her shaped by external demands. But the heart of the film is not the technology, it is the moment she steps out of those heels and reclaims her body, rhythm and sense of self. As a female director working across live action and generative imagery, I am interested in how digital tools can amplify emotion rather than replace it, allowing us to talk about autonomy, illusion and identity with a hint of humour and bite.

For me, Oopsy! is a story about control, losing it, resisting it and taking it back, wrapped in bright colours, mischievous patterns and a playful nod to the chaos of modern womanhood.
