Director Statement

As a father, I feel this story is personal for me. I would do anything to protect my children from harm, any parent would.

Using all the tools at your disposal... muscles to fight off danger, humor to calm nerves, distraction to ease worry, and promises to make your child feel comforted and protected. The worst feeling of all is when those promises can't be kept. The intense guilt when you can't provide safety for your children can be shattering.

Every parent can understand the overwhelming need to protect your child from danger. This is hard enough in the regular day to day, but what about in a zombie apocalypse.

The love and connection between a parent and child lasts forever, in life and beyond.
