Director Biography - Kelsea MacKay

Kelsea MacKay is a proud Radio Television Arts alumna of Toronto Metropolitan University. During university, she founded Kai Productions, a media and marketing business. Through Kai Productions, she has directed her talents towards creating impactful videos for nonprofits such as Mattie's Place, Ted Harrison Foundation, and the Toronto Inner City Rugby Foundation. Kelsea co-founded "Ability Through Action," a non-profit organization with a focus on providing wheelchairs to those in need in Ukraine. Over the past two summers, Kelsea has immersed herself in documenting compelling footage that sheds light on the challenges and triumphs of the Ukrainian community. Her novel, "Feral," earned her a place as a finalist in the Page Turner Awards. On the scriptwriting front, her work titled "Win" placed as a semi finalist in the Big Apple Screenwriting Competition. Her short film, One to Five Minutes is the first of many creative narrative films she plans to help bring to life.
