Dalton Call is a Director, Editor & DP based from Southern Utah who graduated in Digital Film at Utah Tech University. He has been honing in his ability to speak the language of film and effectively collaborate to do so. Coming from a background in Film Photography has helped him construct a 'vintage flare' in his visual storytelling.
His captivating short film "Franky Loses It" (2024) serves as an homage to montage style editing with an underlying emotional grip, while his Director/Editor debut "On a Hilltop in Maine" (2023) feels like an excerpt from a Drama/Thriller TV series made in the 80's.
"I believe in working with what you’ve got. I frequently work with analog mediums as a way to embrace shortcomings. I like seeing the artist’s hand in the work, because just like people, art is imperfect. Never strip a song, image, or film of its personality."
