On Track

Hanna Plass is both musician and actor – and is constantly asked to decide: „What are you anyway?“ Her music short On Track dares to be more than an answer. It lovingly celebrates the piece of fact that as an artist one doesn’t have to decide at all, but be whatever one wants to be!

A theatre rehearsal is the canvas for a witty take on the process of finding yourself. Hanna Plass performs in different interacting characters that try to find their way between acting, music, performance and private struggles. Over the course of five songs she celebrates her love for theatre, opera and film and seamlessly melts them into each other.

On Track was shot in January 2022 with her sister and producer Lena Mary Plaß, and includes the EP in the same name that was released in July 2022.

Director Biography - Hanna Plass

Hanna Plass is a director, actress and musician based in Berlin.
In her youth she played in several bands releasing records and touring the north of Europe. After studying acting at Otto Falckenberg Schule in Munich, she was part of the ensemble at Staatstheater Stuttgart until she started her freelance career, starring in TV and cinema productions.
Her work as director, musician and actress has always aimed to combine the different art forms, promoting her to Deutsche Oper Berlin, Thalia Theater Hamburg and musical films as "Der Dreigroschenfilm". In July '22 Hanna Plass released the EP "On Track" it is her first release as a solo artist. The music short film in the same name is her first work as a director for film.
