On Our Skin
In a world where knowledge is controlled, students become unwitting vessels of resistance. As banned books vanish, their words reappear as ghostly inscriptions on the bodies of the young, a supernatural rebellion against the forces of censorship.

ABIODUN UDOM is a film director based in Lagos, Nigeria, with a strong background in theatre, marketing, and design. A two-time graduate of the Ebonylife Creative Academy (ELCA), he has amassed over five years of experience in the film and television industry, contributing to high-profile projects such as Blood Sisters, The Smart Money Woman, Ajosepo, and Ebuka Turns Up Africa, which have been streamed on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Showmax.
Abiodun draws creative inspiration from filmmakers such as Tyler Perry (USA), Kayode Kasum (Nigeria), and Bong Joon Ho (South Korea). He is passionate about using film to tell important stories and amplify marginalized voices. His work addresses pressing issues like gender inequality, police brutality and LGBTQ+ rights. The sole goal of Storypriest is to create and tell stories that feel like art pieces and accurately reflect the realities of our current society. With over 30 TV screenwriting credits, including production on ROK Studios,African Movie Channel (AMCC), and African Magic originals, Story Priest's debut as a director with his Ebony Life Creative Academy (ELCA)-sponsored short film "People's Court" solidifies his position and perspective as a reality centered film maker.
'On Our Skin' is a film that demands to be made with urgency, care, and a profound understanding of the depth of human connection. In a world where societal norms and expectations often dictate what constitutes 'ideal' human relationships and emotions, I believe we risk sacrificing the true essence of connection.
As a filmmaker, I feel a deep responsibility to challenge these norms and to create a space where authentic human experiences can be shared and celebrated. 'On Our Skin' is a testament to the transformative power of vulnerability, empathy, and compassion.
By sharing this story, I hope to inspire audiences to reevaluate their own understanding of human connection and to embrace the beauty of imperfection, complexity, and individuality. It is only by embracing our true selves and each other that we can foster a deeper sense of community, understanding, and love.
