Ireland Robinson is a 20-year-old media and film student at the University of Texas in San Antonio. She works in narrative and documentary genres, exploring the typical lives of Americans living in small, rural communities.
My name is Ireland Robinson, and I am the producer and director of the documentary "On-Corps."
I aspire to direct films that allow me to unleash my creativity and capture authentic truths. After completing my first two documentaries, "Igo" and "Stan the Bully Wumpus Man," I was approached by UTSA faculty to create a documentary on a new program aimed to aid veterans through the power of music.
Since the moment I first learned about this inspiring local community project, I have been deeply moved by the idea and felt a strong personal pull to delve into the stories and experiences of the incredible veterans and dedicated volunteers who are at the heart of it. It has become a passion project for me and my team, and we are committed to ensuring that their impactful stories and mission are brought to the forefront and receive the recognition and support they truly deserve.
I wish to share the joy and fulfillment I have found through these projects with others. When I first learned about this local community initiative, I felt an immediate and deep connection with the veterans and volunteers involved. Their stories deserve to be told, and my team is committed to bringing this important narrative to life.
