Director Statement

This short movie started when Alexis and I rented a 100mm macro lens for our Canon 5D mkIII and started filming stuff around us. We soon realized we count tell a story using only this lens and by filming very close to whatever we wanted. Then the story about the introspection came along. We then asked piano composer Vivian Roost who really liked our idea to score the film.

We kept shooting and after a long pause, we finished the color grading late 2023, same time as the re-recording of the score.
