Jakob Bey (2005) and Amechi Oji (2006) are young filmmakers from Münster.

Ever since Amechi moved into Jakob's house next door in 2009, the two of them have been friends and have been making movies together under the name OMENKÀ.

2020 - 2021: Their first published short film "Alone", screened at film festivals like FISHFILM Festival Rostock or Up and Coming Film Festival won 4 main prizes. Besides "Alone", Amechi Oji and Jakob Bey's short film "Everyday" was shown at film festivals. It won the German Youth Film Award.

2022: Amechi and Jakob work on "The Miro Project". A short movie about the possible development of artificial intelligence. The movie will be finished in October 2022.

2023: "The Miro Project was screened at various festivals and Jakob finished his school career. In summer 2023 "Filmwerkstatt Münster" supports OMENKÀ for a movie pitch.

2024: Amechi finishes his school career and writes a short movie. In just one month, Jakob and Amechi have finished their latest short film "DIE SCHLINGE".
