No Olvidado

"No Olvidado" is a compelling departure from the norm, inspired by real-life events. The story unfolds through the experiences of four distinct individuals: Nyles Silva, an esteemed African American documentarian renowned for his gripping television work; Alejandra Sanchez, a Mexican American Border Patrol Agent torn between her duty and her heritage; Noah Rodriguez, a Coyote entangled in the treacherous world of human smuggling; and Gabriel Cortez, a 16-year-old street savvy sex worker struggling to survive in Mexico who dreams of realizing her dream in the United States.

Set against the fiery backdrop of the Southwest border between Mexico and the U.S. in the year 2000, on the cusp of the world-altering event of 9/11, "Olvidado" weaves their intersecting stories together, but it is not a narrative about the border, but the people who must cross it. Each character embarks on a deeply personal journey across the border, driven by their unique motivations, aspirations, and the outcomes they hope to achieve. Their paths converge and diverge, and in the process, they undergo transformative changes, offering an intimate exploration of life, liberty, happiness, and the ceaseless quest for a brighter future. It's a story that has yet to be told.

"No Olvidado" invites you to understand the other side of the border - the beaner side.
