Being both an executive producer and a director, David is working on a variety of projects within the companies Cartouche & Who killed Joe?. Started mainly in advertisement and shifted along the way to a combination of advertisement film, photography and fiction. With Oldtown he is going back to his roots as a film director.
The end credit song is Forever Young from Alphaville and who wouldn't want that? After some inquiry, apparently there weren't that many people around me after all. But I do. The time constraints are stressing me out. When my father died way to young, it gave me not only a lot of pain but also stress. What do I want to achieve with my limited time and every decision, a job, do we take kids, travel, … does limit the time for other things like film making. That our time is limited keeps me busy but I wanted to tell this in a cheerful, colorful and positive way. And what better way than with an entire 65+ old cast in their last journey, or not? A question towards who wants to live forever. We might have that question for real one day!
