A retired military veteran, Keith Travers has spent his life dreaming of being a film maker. With no formal training, he entered the world of documentary at age 50. His interests span the spectrum of genres, but he has found his passion in documentary. Born and raised in New England, Keith is married to his wife Danielle and has three adult children.
A True Love Story is just that, a film about the love between senior dogs and the people who rescue them. The film is also a labor of love on the part of the director. Keith has always loved film and especially the process of making them. He also loves dogs, so this project was a match made in heaven. Keith's hope in making this documentary, is that people will get a better understanding of what it means to be a foster, and more specifically, a senior dog foster. The people you will meet during the film are some of the most selfless and kindest human beings. Their compassion and love shines through in each scene of the film. Please enjoy and if you like what you see, feel free to let the director know. Special thanks to all participants and to our very important sponsors. This could not have happened without each one of them.
