The film’s main character is an obsessive amateur writer, living an isolated life away from society and reality.
The filmmakers set themselves the task of reflecting his irrational world in the language of cinema, combining dreams and reality, memories and erotic fantasies, euphoria and alcoholic depression.
The film follows the creative torment and elation of inspiration felt in writing his novel.
Each step of the creative process is symbolically shown in a series of separate metaphorical episodes.
This experimental exercise researches creativity – one of life’s great mysteries.
