Director Statement

Through this film, we have attempted to draw a parallel between the haves and have-nots in our ‘civil’ society during the pandemic… we have in particular delved into the lives of these trafficked women and the brutal mentality which drives them to the brink of survival.

The satire lies in the fact; are we ‘civil’ enough? That’s the pertinent question.. especially in the eye of this storm, we as a ‘civil’ society have been exposed! The term ‘ORA’ means ‘Them/ Those/ They’ in Bengali. Can we ever be prepared enough to consider them as one of ‘us’?
