Director Biography - YICHENG XUE

(KNE) Yicheng Xue is an international film-director, film-maker. Born in Xi’an, China, KNE now is studying MFA Directing at DePaul University, Chicago. Before enrolling in DePaul, KNE had made a lot of various videos, commercials and short films, including directing award-winning short “Dinner” (7 mins, official-selection of Shanghai International Film Festival-Mobile Unit) and web-popular dancing MTV “Step-Up Fudan” (6 mins, more than 200,000 views at Chinese video websites 56.com and Youku.com). With the professional training at DePaul, KNE is now more skillful at film-making and story-telling. With a Chinese background, KNE is open-minded to both eastern and western cultures. He keeps creatively visualizing stories with his unique perspectives towards motion picture and art.
