Director Statement

Nunca Mas is a comedy about the unexpected twists and turns of role-playing and fantasy. The film follows a man who fantasizes being robbed, tied to a chair, and threatened with violence in a Spanish language movie. He tries to make this a reality by forcing a woman to take his money and gifts and to tie him to a chair. The woman feels very uncomfortable taking all the money and gifts and cutting into the guy with a knife, however.

Through this film, I aim to explore fantasies and desires in a way not usually addressed in entertainment. The twist of the roommate's intervention highlights the idea that sometimes, even our most carefully planned dreams can be disrupted by external factors, which I've found to be the case every so often in film making as well.

Thank you for joining me on this journey of exploring the complexities of role-playing and fantasy.
