Director Biography - saman Darvish

I, Sam Darvish, was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1993. I have loved cinema since I was a child, and I made my first film when I was 16 years old. I studied mathematics in high school, but I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in filmmaking.
In 2012, I enrolled in the Art University of Tehran. I have since made many short films, including "Deceive," "Limbo," "Happy Together," and "Suicider." My films have been screened at several film festivals.
I am a talented filmmaker with a passion for cinema. I am interested in making films that explore the human condition and that challenge the status quo. I believe that Iranian young filmmakers have a lot to say to the world, and I am excited to be a part of this new generation of filmmakers.
My influences as a filmmaker are Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Jacques Tati, Quentin Tarantino, Cohen Brothers and Tim Burton.
