A young man tries to save his dying father while coming to grips with teenage trauma and a strained family relationship.
The Director's Cut was requested for publication by The New Yorker magazine. It was the first feature film published by their video section.
The Remastered Cut includes several deleted scenes while removing others. The order of scenes has been changed and it includes new musical contributions from a range of collaborators. The Remastered Cut runtime is 25 minutes shorter than the Director's Cut.

Louis Cox was born in New York, NY and educated at The New School in Manhattan, where he also worked as a teaching assistant for cinematography, lighting, and film production courses. He grew up in Brooklyn, where he is active in local politics, serving on County Committee, and as a Judicial Delegate. In 2020, he juried selections for the 76th Annual Wabash Valley Exhibition at The Swope Art Museum. In 2021, his film Now Again was published by The New Yorker. He lives at home in Brooklyn, with his wife Ashley and their two cats.
