Sophie is a German scriptwriter who began her career later in life because of the pandemic. She is self-taught and gained recognition in 2022 when she won the Evolution Mallorca Film Festival with her debut feature script. In 2023 she has been a finalist twice with two different scripts and won an award in Barcelona just a month before. She is currently based in Madrid and has already written multiple scripts. The Flickers Rhode International Film Festival placed her in 2023 as a Semi-Finalist. Sophie's favourite genres are romance drama and romantic comedy. However, she is also branching out to her first short Horror. Her writing is based on her long life experiences she considers her film school. In her free time, Sophie enjoys reading to her two little granddaughters.
Age should not limit pursuing one's dreams. My writing takes readers on an emotional journey, evoking laughter or tears.
