Director Statement

The film's aim is to shine a light on the human side of those that are homeless, as opposed to reducing them to a statistic. I let our lead actor Tom prepare physically and mentally for a month before shooting, where he lost 12kg in order to convincingly play the character of Joe. On the street the general public tends to avoid making eye contact with those that are homeless; I want this film to leave the audience questioning their attitude towards people who are homeless, and be forced to see the human being in front of them.
