Director Statement

"Having worked in the industry for over two decades with some great film makers, I wrote this script and purposely didn't seek help from people I knew or had worked with previous because I wanted to get honest opinions of my writing to see whether it was relevant enough to shoot". "After the DP read it, a snow ball effect took place and I ended up with some of the best, most experienced crew of people I had never worked with or knew previous". "It was amazing to show up to our first location and find 29 people working the set to prepare the shoot for me". I was humbled". "Deluxe Labs Hollywood processed my film for free and Kodak gave us free film just because they knew I was shooting on film". "Marni Zimmerman at Panavision Cameras Hollywood showed us great support providing a small budget camera package for our shoot". "It's amazing how much support you'll get as a film maker when you show a real passion for the art." "I chose to shoot on Kodak 35 mm 5229 Film stock because of the richness of the texture and color".
