No Miracles
Dr. Pushkin's collaboration "No Miracles" with Jon Connor & Ataman Nikita is the title track for one half of his upcoming duology album.
No Miracles is not just another track—it’s a powerful anthem of self-reliance, resilience, and personal accountability. Dr. Pushkin, along with collaborators Jon Connor and Ataman Nikita, challenge the status quo and empower the listeners to take control of their lives.
No Miracles couldn’t have come at a better time. In an age of misinformation, broken political promises, and economic disparity, the song offers an antidote to the widespread sense of powerlessness. It’s for anyone tired of waiting for someone else to come along and fix the broken systems we all navigate daily. It’s a call to arms, a reminder that change begins with us.
The collaboration was touted as arguably the most impactful one for Ghanaian Hip Hop since Sarkodie featured the "Bugatti" hit maker Ace Hood a decade ago.
Jon was a member of XXL freshman class 2014 - alongside Chance the Rapper, Rich Homie Quan, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Durk, Kevin Gates, Troy Ave, and Vic Mensa - and was signed by Dr. Dre to Aftermath shortly after. There, he collaborated with names such as Snoop Dogg, Freddie Gibbs, Logic, Talib Kweli, Royce da 59, Ab-Soul among many others and earned praise for lyricism from Nas.
The lyric video captures the song's rapid-fire lyricism and metaphorical weight using poignant imagery that leaves a lasting impression.

The lyric video captures the song's rapid-fire lyricism and metaphorical weight using poignant imagery that leaves a lasting impression.
At its core, No Miracles is a protest song. It demands that we stop waiting for something or someone to come and solve our problems. The artists speak directly to listeners who’ve been misled by political figures, fake miracle workers, and the false security of promises that never materialise. The key message? “Don’t wait for miracles; make your own change.”
The imagery in the lyric video reinforces this message without distracting from the content. Pay close attention to the visual metaphors aligned to each bar, and you might catch another entendre for almost every line
