Director Biography - Shamar (Vibez) Binns

Shamar Binns is an Afro Caribbean filmmaker. Born and raised in America, raise with Caribbean (Jamaican) descent known for his commitment to crafting captivating and thought-provoking stories. With a background in filmmaking from the University of the Arts, he has honed his skills and passion for storytelling, using the medium of film to explore and illuminate the diverse narratives within the many Black/Caribbean community. Through his creative lens, Shamar seeks to shed light on the richness of culture, experiences, and perspectives within this vibrant community, offering audiences an engaging and insightful cinematic journey. His work stands as a testament to his dedication to storytelling and the power of film as a vehicle for cultural expression.
