From Jed Ackerman:
I’m delighted to have gotten to work on this project with my wife, Victoria. We had been talking about doing a short film together for a long time. I wrote “No Laughing Matter” in 2018, basing the characters on pieces of my personality. Sometimes I feel like Banzo, where no matter what I do, no one takes me seriously. Other times, like Dr. Kennedy, I overthink things too much and feel like I’m getting nowhere. Sometimes, I’m a neurotic mess like Linda. It was fun writing this project and playing with these pieces of myself in the same sandbox. It was it’s own form of therapy.
