New film director living in London, UK
A film about how the cost of living crisis is affecting our generation. "No Future" is a social satire about how young people struggle financially in the current economic environment, not being able to afford to buy a property, continuing to live with their parents. So they decide to rob a jewellery store to make more "decent money". But they don't manage to complete the task because they fail during the planning stage. This being a commentary on our collective flaws that hold us back , such as self-sabotage, short attention span, obsession with social media, celebrity culture and prioritising other distractions, lack of focus and motivation, not being able to delay gratification, wanting overnight results, the general feeling of hopelessness etc. I think a lot of my crowd will relate to this film. Unfortunately.
Hopefully this will be a wakeup call and a little motivation to stand up and do more. NOW.
