Director Statement

I have worked countless hours to get to this point for a meaningful project to me and in various ways many others. In the process of creating it I not only had the opportunity to spread hope to children that normally wouldn't have it, but to work with really amazing and talented people that normally wouldn't have had these opportunities due to their circumstances. Most importantly it helped me with confronting personal battles and believing in myself. I wish to raise funds to complete the next chapter of this story. After I watched my audiences reaction in our first private screening of our short. I couldnt hold back my tears of joy because I knew I was getting my message across. It was such a heart warming and tearful moment to see their responses to a true story I wrote based on my families history, and Cuban stories that's never been told. I would truly appreciate it greatly from the bottom of my heart. This wouldn't just be where we stop but continue on helping inspire women like myself but these wonderful and talented kids I had the pleasure in working with and the many others to come.
