Director Biography - Elisabeth

Elisabeth is a writer and director with a penchant for writing and directing horror films with unique spins on the genre; her latest work "Night Whispers" mixes horror and coming-of-age with a childlike twist. She is currently undergoing her 2nd year in Film at BINUS University.

Director Statement

The world we live in is divided into two dimensions, the human dimension and the supernatural dimension. The wall between the two dimensions is believed to protect humans from the evil that is believed to envelop the supernatural dimension. But is it always like that?

Through the story of Algi and Putra the Ghost Child, I offer the audience a story of interaction between the human and supernatural realms that is unique and different from the stories that are usually depicted in horror. Their interactions together represent the bravery we must sometimes garner in order to accomplish more than what our fear holds us back from.
