Director Statement

“Night Whispers” aims to explore an original concept that is designed to remain unpredictable, frightening, and entertaining to a broad audience. At its core, “Night Whispers” emphasizes how easy it is to let our internal struggles consume us, and how powerful external suggestions can be in influencing our decisions. One of my greatest fears plays on the idea that one's own mind, in which we endow the greatest amount of trust, could be directly responsible for one’s own demise. At the forefront of my creative vision throughout my films is to break free from overly-utilized horror tropes that repeatedly explore one sector of an incredibly vast horror genre.

I began this solo-project as a junior in high school and completed it prior to my education at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. Though I am a first-year film production student, this project was not made for or with my university or high school.
