Sarah K. Reimers’ 25-year career as an editor has feature films, television and the web. She spent 10 years at Pixar Animation Studios, where she worked on Brave, Finding Dory, and edited the Academy Award-winning short Piper. She recently edited the feature film "Strange World" and the Disney+ series "Baymax!" (for which she won an Emmy in 2023 for "Outstanding Editing for an Animated Series") for Walt Disney Animation Studio. Besides a love of animated story telling, Sarah is a devoted horror fan; she grew up watching the Saturday afternoon “Thriller Double Feature” on television in her hometown of Detroit. "Night Feeding" is her second short film, her debut being the short film "Bitten", which garnered 11 awards and 15 nominations during it's festival run. Her web-series "Family Recipes with Allison and Sarah" premiered in 2019 on YouTube. She lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband and daughter.
I love story-telling and find the process of collaborating with other film-makers deeply satisfying. Horror films have held a special place in my heart since childhood and my discovery of the independent horror film festival community has been a revelation and a joy. I love being with like-minded creators and having a venue to share my visions of the supernatural and creepy.
