Director Biography - Desmond Amir Bailey

Desmond Bailey lives and works in Los Angeles where he was born and raised. His upbringing in the tough neighborhoods of South Central Los Angeles ultimately forged his cinematic eye as his films often retain a rough edge and gritty feel, focusing less on the smoothness of the shot and more on action and story.

Nonetheless, as a student filmmaker, Desmond continues to study the art of filmmaking and continuously works to hone his skills while learning from the amazing faculty at Los Angeles City College.
