I've always wanted to make a film based on the concept of loss. Losing my father at the age of 11 gave me a little insight into the defiance/acceptance that people go through, which by themselves are only a small facet of the many ways people really grieve.
The film opened up so many avenues to explore the realities of coping and I hope it gives the viewer a unique glimpse 'through the keyhole' at extraordinary circumstances that is hopefully, charming and thoughtful as well.
