The New York Los Angeles International Film Festival is a biannual event taking place in two of the biggest media cities in the world. Our New York screenings take place in May and our Los Angeles screenings in October. Thus, providing filmmakers with maximum exposure and networking opportunities for their projects. The NYLA humbly takes honor in providing such a platform for the many independent filmmakers and writers attempting to launch their careers and share their creative talents. With becoming one of the larger independent festivals on the horizon, we look forward to kicking off the New York Screening session of the NYLA this May and showcasing the expressive artistry of the stars of tomorrow.

Great fest. Really well curated batch of films, and the presentation was top notch. Well worth the submission fee.

Thank you so much for including Fleur in your festival, we had a good time last night. The MC who ran the event was awesome.

I want to say though, as a filmmaker, I was profoundly disappointed in the quality of the sound system and screen last night. That was the worst venue I have ever seen for a film festival, and it was shame that filmmakers had to hear such a bad rendition of their work.

Film festivals are awesome, but NYLA owes filmmakers in Los Angeles a better effort than this. This is not acceptable, it was an amateur-hour screening facility, for what seems to be promoted as a quality festival.

I mean nothing personal by this, I am not in a rage, just very, very disappointed in the cinematic experience we gave the audience last night.
