New Waves

A hyperkinetic romp through weird fictional terrain, this pulsing video vortex is powered by the frenetic "New Waves" song by Brooklyn's Radi0 Sh0ck. The central narrative thread is loosely based on H.P. Lovecraft's Beyond the Wall of Sleep, and stars a younger version of RS frontman MP Lockwood, from footage Diehl produced with him a quarter of a century ago. Diehl revived this video fossil for the New Waves music video, stitching it together with the mayhem and murk of original video synthesis and complementary compositional strategies.
