Director Biography - Ted Marsden

Ted Marsden is an award-winning writer, director, + editor.

He likes to create irreverent, character-based comedy. His short film New Hire made its premiere at the 2020 San Francisco Independent Film Festival, and was shown at the Mammoth Film Festival, Dam Short Film Festival, and Cleveland International Film Festival. It made it's international debut at Short to the Point in Romania.

He has created numerous episodic shows at Channel 101. His 7-episode show Making Partner won Best Show and Best Director in 2018. His 10-episode show Street Cleaning won Best Editing in 2017.

When he is not making narrative films, he is helping to create video marketing for progressive political campaigns, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, ACLU, Swing Left, and Beto for Senate.

He attended Emerson College and lives in Los Angeles. He rides his bike almost everywhere. He is developing his next short film.
