Short film adapted from the award winning Simmmering screenplay.

Jesse and Florio have lived together as lovers for over 45 years. Their relationship has stood the test of time. Now both men are seniors in their 80s. Jesse has held firm to his decision never to get married, and Florio has accepted that fact. But that all changes when Jesse proposes on the 30th anniversary after gay marriage is legalized in the U.S.

Director Biography - Morgan Martini

Morgan Martini is an Emmy and Golden Mike awarded Video Editor & Director of the Never Too Old film project.

Editor at NBC-Universal and KCBS-TV. Owner of Martini Shot Productions.

As a professional film director, Morgan was hired to work on several narratives such as the short film “Valentine’s Day” and web series “Life’s Anonymous”.

Her prior experience encompasses production assistant work for The Voice and American Idol. She also worked at Mob Scene where she edited behind the scenes featurettes for major motion pictures and T.V. shows including Divergent, Birdman and Sons of Anarchy.

Morgan is a passionate filmmaker with numerous short films she directed and edited. In light of the unequal opportunities and pay in the film industry, she also put together a positive and uplifting YouTube Series called “Olive the Women” interviewing and recognizing talented female filmmakers, including Nichelle Nichols and Skye Borgman.

After months of intensive preparation with our ambitious cast and crew, our film shoot was a resounding success! 🎬 I'm immensely grateful to collaborate with such a talented, driven, and passionate team of individuals.
