Director Biography - Brodie Pyke

Brodie Pyke is a Sydney-based filmmaker, primarily working across various disciplines, including directing and producing. Pyke has directed short films such as "Runaway" (2014) and the highly anticipated "Neuromance" (2024). Additionally, he has produced short films like "Paradise" (2017) and has recently served as the line producer for the feature film "Body Blow". Notably, Pyke held the position of 2nd assistant director on the feature film "Lonesome" (2022) and has contributed to various commercial and educational videos for institutions such as the NSW Police Force and Sydney Dance Company. He had the honour of being an associate board member of Queer Screen and is a passionate advocate for queer representation in cinema. As the co-founder of the Queer Film Collective, he fosters a supportive community for LGBTQ+ filmmakers and storytellers.
