Nazif
Nazif is a man of Muslim background and the father of Aisha, his four year old beautiful yet hyperactive daughter who can never waste a good opportunity to play. Nazif suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), a condition that has left him with fear of dirt or anything associated with the outdoors. His OCD is put to test when, in one of his visits to the mosque, he leaves his daughter Aisha under the care of his sister. As Aisha gets into playing, she gets lost in the streets without her auntie noticing. Nazif comes back from the prayers to get his daughter missing. What would a father do? His daughter is missing and from the look of things she is lost somewhere in ‘those dirty streets’. Will he be driven by love for his daughter or the fear of the dirt and the uncertainty that lies in the streets?
Aisha is a short story of the sweet pain that comes with love and the tough decisions often made because of love, opening us up to an even bigger story of love and sacrifice as captured in the same streets.
