In 2014, Lorenzo Bombara graduates in Communication, Media and Advertising and in 2017 he obtains a master degree in Television, Cinema and New Media at the IULM University in Milan. He decides to follow his passion and start the production of audiovisual contents.
He founds Nanook - Produzioni Audiovisive and starts to create audiovisual products (short films, videoclips, commercials, trailers and reportages) and multimedia narratives (subjects, scripts, formats).
In 2018 he writes, directs and edits "Note a Margine", a documentary short film that tells the life of three homeless people hosted by the Samaritano, a day-time centre in Asti. The film wins a special mention at the Turin Festival Liberazioni.
In 2019 he has been assistant director to Trevor Graham, an established and award-winning Australian director ("Mabo: Life of an Island Man", "Make Hummus Not War", "Monsieur Mayonnaise" etc.) and author of the feature-length documentary "Chef Antonio’s Recipes for Revolution". The film tells the story of the Etico hotel and Tacabanda restaurant in Asti, where boys and girls with down syndrome work.
In 2020 he produces, writes and directs the short film In Dubbio about the social issue of violence against women. The movie is worldwide distributed by Premiere Film and obtains numerous nominations and awards.
In 2021 he produces, writes and directs the short film “In Superficie”, the intimate journey of a young woman who struggle to get over a toxic and violent man. The movie is worldwide distributed by Lorenzo Bombara and obtains numerous nominations and awards.
In 2022 he produces, writes and directs the short film "Dimentichiamoci Insieme" about the grieving process of a young woman. The movie is currently distributed in Italy.
