Director Statement

I've never been much of a romantic. I prefer to let the more sentimental part of me live in fiction—the part of me that believes in chance encounters, uncomplicated love, and definite happy endings. This film is dedicated to that cheesy, silly little romantic side that I usually reserve for myself and the books I read in the middle of the night. I think love likes to sneak up on people when they least expect it and relationships are hard work, but I hope living through this light-hearted story vicariously will bring you joy.
