Director Statement

As a queer Ghanaian who has taken keen interest in the Anthropology of clothing, I like to share my in-depth knowledge, skills and research through films. I believe films are the best mode to communicate ideas. I like to write for scholarly interactions but I believe films help to make such deep exercises accessible to the general populace.
I believe telling untold stories about women in Africa helps to bring light to the interesting parts missed about Africans and also saturate the poor image sold to the world about Africa. our Music, our Arts, Our paintings, our architecture and our clothing.
I hope to take this project to the farthest it can get through screenings, exhibitions and seminars. the next episodes which discusses the project into details are yet to be shot but sharing the pilot is a step in the right direction.
