NO STEP

Maulana Ghiffari (Indonesia, Born: October 12, 2001) is a young filmmaker and critics (wanna be) who graduated from the school of media production management at Padjadjaran University.

Born in Serang, Banten, all his life he always liked movies, he always watch movies, his interest in filmmaking has grown since he was in high school, and finally began to be channeled at the beginning of his college era with him and his friends making a production house named ‘Eyessence’ Initially focused on documenting campus events through after-movies, then expanded by handling product advertisements, virtual events, expanded again by handling a short film production, until finally he could make his own film under the production of his production house.

Until now he has work in 7 short films including; “Di Volta In Volta Documentary” as director, “REC” as director again, back in a year he took his dual role in “No Step” as director and writer, then Sudah as director and writer too, Additionally, he has lent his expertise as a director of photography (DOP) for "Kisah Suara Pramuda Musical” and as a cinematographer for "Pamor the Greatest Documentary." and most recently his first mockumentary short film, under the production of Eyessence—Behind, Behind The Scenes: How To Take a Shoot? which he took a several roles as writer, director, director of photography, and also the colorist, the film shooted in May 2023 and has all done by September 2023.
