Throughout the video NNAMDÏ transforms into over 45 different illustrations, becoming a farmer one minute, an astronaut the next and even a piece of cheese after that. The images coincide with his introspective lyrics in the song, which reflect the Chicago artist’s anticipation around being able to care for his family and loved ones.

Glass Casket was a spontaneous project after Stephen reached out, already being a fan of NNAMDÏ’s extensive and varied back-catalogue.

The fact this video ended up being premiered and broadcast on ADULT SWIM, a channel I've been a fan of forever, is an additional joy.
