Director Biography - Aissatou Njayou

Actress, Screenwriter and Director
Aïssatou Njayou is a filmmaker with a degree in Film and Television Production from the University of Yaoundé I and advanced professional training at FilmArche in Berlin. Winner of the “10 Days for a Film” competition, she crafts stories that draw on history and the social realities of Africa, bringing powerful and authentic voices to the screen. Her works include the short films Ngoungoure and the thriller Imbroglio, both showcased at several festivals and film events.
